A successful school project

Our story

Did you know that 24doors has actually been around for several years? Just not under the name 24doors. But let us start at the beginning:

To do that, we need to go back to 2018. That was when we, the three students Philipp Domagala, Lennart Fischer, and Simon Jäschke, started working on our idea:
an online Advent calendar for our school. That was how "Adventfinum" was born.

Adventfinum taught us what really matters in online Advent calendars.
As early as 2018, we were able to launch a small test phase, and it quickly became clear that our users, who mainly consisted of students, teachers, and parents, truly enjoyed our product.

A year later, we launched a larger test to find out whether Adventfinum could also gain traction beyond the school gates. What we did not expect was more than 1,500 users, 3 press appearances, and around 720,000 page views in total.

You are probably wondering what Adventfinum has to do with 24doors and why we are telling you all of this in the first place. Adventfinum is, in a way, the foundation of all our experience. Without those exciting two years and the test phases that came with them, 24doors probably would never have existed.

Everything we learned during those two eventful years helped us create an entirely new platform for online Advent calendars. And this year, you are getting the first exclusive look at our plans.

Alongside the new name, there has also been a major change to our team. Henrik Dawel and Lou Schulz are now joining us on our journey to open up entirely new Advent calendar possibilities for you with 24doors.

And one thing we can promise you: we are far from finished.
